Our Barbecue Rubs
Our BBQ Rubs are handmade in our BBQ Workshop Kitchen. They are presented in our NEW 200g Flip Top Jars for freshness. Our Rubs are mixed in small batches to our own recipes, crafted over years of painstaking experimentation and development, to bring you flavours that will enhance your food not overpower it.
Whilst the rubs are targeted at specific meats in their naming, they will also work with other meats and vegetables too, so please experiment with the flavours and you’ll be pleasantly surprised.
Beef Rub #1 … our everyday beef rub, works really well on red meats and as a seasoning in meatballs and burgers, or use it to spice up a stew.
Beef Rub #2 … this one was made for richer cuts of beef, but is lovely on venison, lamb and all red meats. The juniper berries give it a wonderful botanical flavour which is complemented by coffee and cocoa. Try it in a chilli to add some lovely richness.
Chicken Rub #1 … this is quite an eclectic blend, lovely savoury notes, earthy turmeric, Chinese five spice, celery and cayenne. It packs a bit of a punch but leaves your tastebuds tingling.
Pork Rub #1 … we love this one on pulled pork, but it also great on all cuts of pork, chicken, duck and vegetables.
Pork Rub #2 … originally created for Pork Ribs, it has a fruity sweetness with a nice little background hint of chilli. It is also great on all cuts or pork, chicken and vegetables.
Catering Rubs … We also provide Catering Rubs in 1kg packs, these rubs have been developed to enhance the flavour of food, they are made free of the main 14 allergens* and are successfully used in several restaurants.
