Frequently Asked Questions
Here are some of our FAQs and the information you will need.
How do I Book?
Simply select the class you want to go on along with the date you wish to attend and either pay via PayPal using the Pay Now Button, or email us for more information so that we can help you further.
What should I wear?
The classes at our BBQ School are based mainly outdoors, so please dress comfortably and according to the weather – there is shelter if it rains! Aprons will be supplied.
What do I need to bring with me?
We will supply pretty much everything you should need, including notes on the workshop for you to take home.
What if I have to cancel?
We’re a pretty understanding bunch, so as long as you give us a minimum of 48 hours notice, we will give you a full refund. Anything less than that means that we can’t re-book your slot, so I’m afraid we will not be able to refund you however, you can transfer your place to another person if you have someone who can attend in your place.
What if I have allergies or specific food requirements?
Just call us before booking and we can advise you if this will be an issue. We do try to accommodate everyone on our workshops, so it really shouldn’t be a problem.
Where is the BBQ School?
The classes are held at our home in the village of Bethersden, near Ashford in Kent, in our purpose built outdoor kitchen and barbecue area. We have a couple of very friendly dogs on-site, they will be kept away from food preparation areas, however they might come and say hi during breaks if people don’t mind. There is a limited amount of parking available on-site, so if you are coming in groups, car sharing would be advised.
What happens to the food we cook during the Workshop?
Everyone is invited to eat together at the end of each Workshop, participants are also welcome to take any leftovers home with them.
